Softland is a privately-held software development company founded in 1999. Our company develops its own software products and provides a complete range of custom software development and consulting services.
Since 2003, respectively 2005 we develop and sell our own competitively priced software products in two different fields: file backup (Backup4all, FBackup) and PDF creation (novaPDF, doPDF). In the second quarter of 2007 we have also launched a software download library, Software 112.
Backup4all
Backup4all is a backup software for Windows, that gives users access to advanced features while maintaining a friendly and easy-to-use interface. It comes in 4 editions, Lite, Standard, Professional and Portable, each with its own target group. The first release was in 2003 and since then we continuously improved it to the point where it is now a very stable and fully-featured backup product, trusted by a large user-base.
novaPDF
novaPDF is a PDF creator that let users convert any type of printable documents into standard PDF files. There are 3 main editions, Lite, Standard and Professional, grouped into Desktop and Server solutions. We also offer two PDF development solutions for programmers that want to add pre- or post-processing PDF functionality in their applications or services: novaPDF SDK and novaPDF OEM.
Backup2all
Backup2 is a set of backup programs, the main difference between each of them being the destination type they back up to - each of them stores the backup on a distinct one. This suite of backup products was created especially as a solution for OEM vendors or companies looking for a fully brandable backup solution (i.e. hosting companies that want to offer a rebranded online backup solution).
Software112
Software112 was launched in 2007 and since then its popularity increased exponentially, becoming the most trafficked website in our portfolio. It is a software download library where users can download programs from, but also add comments, rate and read reviews. The software database for Software112 recently reached 100k different program listings and it's one of the most popular websites in this category.
FBackup
FBackup is a freeware backup program for both personal and commercial use that allows users to protect important data by backing it up automatically. Even if at one point it started from the same development platform as Backup4all, FBackup is now a separate project - also it offers less features than Backup4all and is recommended for home users that need basic data protection.
doPDF
doPDF is a free PDF converter for both personal and commercial use. Launched in 2007, it currently surpassed the 10 million download mark and it has literally millions of active users. Its popularity comes from the fact that it is very lightweight compared to other freeware PDF creators and it doesn't require 3rd party tools (such as Ghostscript) to function. As the name suggests it does one thing but does it very good, PDFs.Besides the development of our own products (Backup4all, novaPDF and Software 112) we provide complete software development life-cycle services, as well as maintenance for systems after implementation.
